Grandparents Shower

My parents had a "grandparents" shower put on for them. Their friends put this on for every couple for their first grandchild. They wanted the 'highlight' of the show to make an appearance. We went over with the 'highlight' (Grant) and everyone had a bundle of fun. They received a lot of nice books to read to Grant among other things.

Christmas

This year we celebrated our first Christmas with Grant and our first white Christmas in a long time. It was wonderful, however all were glad to get the rain back (except Paul and myself).

Adventure in the snow

We had a great time out in the snow today. At the beginning of the day (before it started snowing more) we had at least 7.5 inches. Hopefully we'll have a white Christmas!

Grant's Dedication

Grant was dedicated to the Lord on December 7, 2008 at Church of Living Water in Olympia, WA. He was asleep the entire time! Paul's relatives from Canada were able to make it down. We had a wonderful time with them as always! Grant was very happy to meet all of them for the first time and had a great time playing with Christian!

Thanksgiving in Richland

We spent Thanksgiving over with my grandparents in Richland, WA. Grant was the hit of the party of course as he smiled at everyone and showed his moves (lift up quite a bit). He also got to sit on Santa's lap for the first time! He just had his 2 month appointment (at 10 weeks old) and he weighed 14 pounds and was 24 inches tall (in the 90 - 95% in everything..big boy!). The doc said he's also starting to teethe. Both Paul and I said....already!

Fun with Grandparents

Today, November 10, we spent some time together playing. Had a great time playing with Grant! It's hard to believe he's already 2 months old!
